Brenda brings over 16 years’ experience as a seasoned professional in human resources focused on designing and administering culture-shaping human resources programs spanning in talent acquisition, on-boarding, HR compliance & policies, performance management, employee relations and corrective counseling. Proven track record currently at Employers Resource Association delivering superior HR expertise, resources, and services. And formerly a HR Manager at a successful publishing & media company and biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry with several rotations of increasing leadership responsibility at the world’s largest biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. Her leadership experience includes roles across specialty and primary commercial sales, commercial domestic, international, and corporate training, leadership development, global field sales operations and human resource management. Clients enjoy her approachability, customer engagement skills and sharp identification of roadblocks impacting leadership performance. As a coach and workshop leader, she utilizes her excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and facilitation skills to develop high and/or underperforming employees. Brenda received her MBA at the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. She received her B.S. in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry from State University of New York at Plattsburgh and University of Liverpool at Chester College, Chester England. She lives in Powell, Ohio with her husband and four sons.
Dawn Mubaslat is an experienced Human Resources professional with over 14 years of diverse experience providing guidance to managers and leaders in various industries with a concentration in the defense industry. With her broad experiences in employee relations, performance management, staffing and recruiting, training and development, succession planning and employee engagement she will support ERA members by providing guidance and workable solutions. Her passion is HR Compliance and to provide members with sound solutions and recommendations, improvements in systems and processes and excellent customer service. Dawn has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources from Capital University, Columbus, Ohio, Also a Master of Arts in Business from Central Michigan University, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Most recently, Dawn earned a Master’s of Jurisprudence in Employment Law from Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Jayne Williamson has some 20+ years' experience in human resources and talent management in a variety of industries, including but not limited to production (wholesale/retail, i.e., woodworking), social services, healthcare (acute care, consumer and pharmaceuticals testing), financial lending, manufacturing, distribution and logistics, to name a few! She holds a BS in Human Resources Management from Trinity and has been with Employers Resource Association since 2016. In 2003 Jayne launched JLW Enterprises, an owner operated talent management recruiting consulting business that networks with local professionals to provide specialized areas of HR expertise to client companies. Jayne is a business writer by trade having been responsible for crafting policies and procedures, writing training material for technical and soft skills, as well as editor for newsletters, web content and advertising brochures and publications. Her early work in fashion, featured in high profile publications like Mademoiselle, Vogue, Women's Wear Daily and Cosmo led her to transition to business writing for small companies. She was a private label ghostwriter for Victoria's Secret, JC Penneys, and specialty stores in Los Angeles and New York.
This is Kim’s second time with ERA serving in a consultant role. Having worked in an HR setting for over 30 years she draws her wealth of knowledge from having worked in multiple industries with companies of all sizes to include private, public & non-profit organizations with over half of her years in the healthcare and manufacturing industries. Her clients value her ability to not only hit the ground running but to quickly establish valued and trusted relationships as well. Her years of experience have honed her skills to be able to quickly access a situation and make recommendations. While being highly competent with Generalist duties Kim is adept at employee relations & conflict resolution as well as reviewing and preparing handbooks & HR policies and procedures. Kim was drawn back into the consultant role as she loves the opportunity to meet new people, work within multiple industries and mold HR best-practices to meet each client’s needs. Her passion is working with young companies and helping them build a foundation to prosper in the years to come. Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Personnel and Organizational Behavior from Miami University.
Michelle Biagi is an innovative, solution-oriented, Human Resources professional with over 20 years of experience in a variety of businesses, including manufacturing, service, and education. Michelle is adept at quickly ascertaining the best solution for business and employee issues. Her passion is leading employee roundtables and providing feedback to leadership teams to become Employers of Choice. She enjoys coaching managers on employee relations matters, communication, progressive discipline and relationship management. She has been employed by ERA for more than three years in a consulting role and her assignments have varied from special projects to being the sole HR person in the organization. Michelle earned a BBA in Human Resource Management from Ohio University and a Master of Business Degree from The University of Toledo, with a specialization in Human Resources.
