Leading through the Generations

July 28 @ 8:15 am - 12:15 pm

$120 – $168

There are more pronounced differences between the generations today than ever before. Research indicates that people communicate based on their generational backgrounds. Each generation has distinct attitudes, behaviors, expectations, habits and motivational buttons. Learning how to communicate with the different generations can eliminate many major confrontations and misunderstandings in the workplace and the world of business. Being aware of these differences can help leaders tailor their message for maximum effect, regardless of the task, or the relationship. To work effectively and efficiently, to increase productivity and quality, one needs to understand generational characteristics and learn how to use them effectively in dealing with each individual.

Learning Objectives:
• Current workforce trends and challenges
• Different workplace characteristics of each of the generations
in the current workforce
• Best practices and techniques on managing and interacting
with the different generations
• Viewpoints of each generation on relationships, work ethic,
authority, perspectives on conflict resolution, and communication
cohesiveness
